The quality assurance aims to assist the radiology and diagnostic facilities to obtain adequate radiological info with minimum dose and best image quality.

The quality control is part of quality assurance which results the acceptance or rejection of the machine based on KV dose, mA and Gray measurements. In addition to survey measurement which shows if there is any xray leakage in operator’s room and outside of xray room.

The second part of quality assurance is to specify the image resolution if it is under the standards. This test is based on images taken on a special phantom & sent to a specific software.
